ALL JUNIOR CRICKET

Junior cricket will return for the 2025-26 season with an anticipated commencement date for games of the 11th/12th of October 2025. Training will commence prior to that with a date to be advised.

Doncaster Cricket Club has always tried to provide cricket for children (boys and girls) of all ages and ability and as a club we endeavour to give every child an equal opportunity to shine.  

In 2024-2025 we fielded 7 teams in Under 16, 14, 12 and 3 Under 10 (Fast 9s) and(Super 7s) age groups and our girls team in Stage 3 cricket.

Obviously our number of teams is determined by the number of players we have and we want as many kids as possible to have the opportunity to play as possible. We are more than happy to enter extra teams if required.

For season 2025-2026 we propose to field teams in the following age groups:

Under 16

Under 14  

Under 12

Under 10 Fantastic 9's (Generally for kids 8-10 who have done Super 7's)

Under 10 Super7's (generally for kids 7-10 who have completed and too advanced for Blast program)

Girls Team (2 if possible)

Our junior competition games for Under 16, Under 14 and Under 12 will be held on Friday nights at this stage with training to be held at Doncaster Reserve at a time to be determined. Please note that girls can play 2 years out of their age group in the boys competition in the BHRDCA.

Under 10 games are played on Saturday morning with training time to be determined.

Our club will be fielding a competition girls team again this year. Please refer to the girl's cricket page on this website for further information.

We are also running a program for boys and girls in the 5-8 year old age groups in the Woolworths Blast program. A seperate page on this website has been set up covering this program.

We hope to see as many kids as possible.

Please note that the proposed start all junior cricket competition is 11th/12th October 2025 and we need as much notice as possible to have teams entered as required.
