JUNIOR CRICKET REGISTRATION 2023-24

Registration for the 2023/24 Cricket season are now open in PlayCricket.
You can register through that site, or I recommend you do it through our website Doncastercc.com.au. This provides direct link with a small instruction through relevant Junior and Girls Cricket pages.
Please register ASAP and if you have any problems let me know.
For those that have ordered clothes I will be sending out accounts to be paid next week.

New captain and club coach 2023/24

The Doncaster cricket club is extremely excited to announce the appointment of Zac Slattery as our new first X1 captain and club coach.
Zac is driven by a strong desire to contribute to what he describes as a friendly, respectful and ambitious club.
We cannot wait to see Zac make an impact this year and the Doncaster family wish you all the best for the upcoming season and beyond.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Elias Karageorgiou for all the hard work and dedication he has shown this role over the last 2 years. The club is in a significantly stronger position thanks to your guidance and leadership in the role.
Everyone from Doncaster cricket club wishes you and Kate all the very best on your new journey.
DCC JUNIOR CRICKET 2023-2024
Aug 9th 9:09PMThe new cricket season is almost here with the first official games scheduled for the 6th and 7th of October 2023.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone again and meet any new players are welcome.
Our proposal this year is to enter teams in the following categories:
Mixed (Boys and Girls)
Under 16
Under 14
Under 12
Under 10 Fast 9s
Under 10 Super 7s
Girls Team Stage 3
If we get more kids joining, we would look to enter additional teams.
We now really need you to register on playcricket website or by the links on our Doncaster Cricket Club website. If you have already done so, thank you very much.
Also, everyone needs to complete the “Image” and “Transport” consent forms and return to Josh Holmes as per instructions asap.

WINTER CRICKET 2023
Mar 31st 2:45PMWinter cricket is due to start around end of April 2023, therefore if you have an interest in maybe participating please contact Kashyap Grover on 0433244584 (after business hours) or email kashyapgrover@gmail.com.
This year they are probably looking at one senior team and possibly 2 under 14 teams. THe number of teams will probably be determined by numbers and ground availability.
Winter cricket is a totally separate set up than the Summer so any information you need to speak to Kashyap.
End Of Season

Well done on a good year to all Junior and Senior teams.
Congratulations and good luck to our Under 14 team and Senior One Day team on making it to finals.
If you are interested in supporting those teams, these are match details.
Under 14s playing Laburnam at Kalang Park Thursday and Friday starting 5pm.
One Day team playing Eley Park at Eley Park on Saturday starting at 1pm.
I’m sure they would appreciate all the support they can get.
An announcement about Presentation day/night will be announced soon.

It is with great sadness we advise the passing of our Honorary Life Member and 14 times Club Champion Keith Read.
Our deepest sympathies to Doris and the entire Read family on Keith's passing.
He was a champion of our Club both on and off the field.
